Role Overview

The Project Manager will serve as the operational quarterback for one of our key inception partner relationships—a healthcare system deploying AI and robotics solutions—and will also provide oversight coordination for two subsidiary leaders. This role requires someone who can manage complex, multi-stakeholder deployments in healthcare settings while ensuring spinout leaders have the operational support and accountability frameworks they need to hit milestones. It is an ideal role for a high-performing project manager with 5–7 years of experience who wants direct exposure to venture studio operations, healthcare AI deployment, and executive-level coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship manager for a designated inception partner healthcare system, coordinating product deployments, feedback loops, and milestone tracking.

Manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for AI and robotics solution rollouts at the partner site.

Provide coordination oversight for two subsidiary leaders, ensuring alignment with parent company objectives, reporting cadences, and resource requests.

Facilitate communication between the inception partner’s clinical and IT teams and the product/engineering organization.

Track and report on KPIs, product performance metrics, and partner satisfaction to the COO and executive team on a weekly and monthly basis.

Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and resource gaps across partner deployments and subsidiary operations.

Coordinate with the finance team on milestone payments, contract compliance, and budget tracking for the partner relationship.

Support preparation of inception partner case studies and co-marketing materials for investor and commercial use.

Manage cross-functional workstreams involving engineering, product, clinical affairs, and commercial teams.

Contribute to the development of repeatable playbooks for future inception partner onboarding and subsidiary oversight.

Required Qualifications

5–7 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare, health IT, medical devices, or a related regulated industry.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects involving clinical end-users, IT departments, and executive sponsors.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to C-suite healthcare executives.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, Jira, Smartsheet) and comfort building reporting dashboards.

PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MHA a plus.

Experience working in a startup or fast-growth environment where processes are being built, not inherited.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with hospital system implementations (EHR, surgical systems, OR technology, sterile processing).

Familiarity with AI/ML product deployment in clinical settings.

Prior experience coordinating across multiple business units or subsidiaries.

Cincinnati-based candidates with existing healthcare system relationships in the tri-state region strongly preferred.
